Breaking into e-commerce
We launched the new online store so that every customer could put their own order together
A couple of years ago, we invested in an online store. We made this decision because we wanted to try and reach all of our customers no matter where they were. It wasn’t easy to develop or implement as we have a lot of baselines and different sales units. We also knew it was impossible for us to sell our products individually, since transporting them ended up penalising the customer.
But, we overcame all the obstacles in our path and decided to push on. This channel has shown growth since the beginning and that growth continues to be strong today and all of this is thanks to our customers who trust in us and our products. That’s why we’ve decided to take another step and set up customised selling. Before Christmas, we launched the new online store so that every customer could put their own order together, right down to filling the boxes, combine the products they wanted and how many units of each product.
The store has been welcomed by our online customers and most of them are now placing custom-made orders.
