Nutrition Facts

Maintaining the nutritional quality of our products is one of the constant features in the preparation of our biscuits. In this section you will find information regarding all the different aspects relating to nutrition and our products.

Biscuits: the energy they provide.

Moderate consumption of biscuits perfectly complements our diet, thanks to the energy they provide. A balanced or healthy diet should have variety and be enjoyable and filling. Carbohydrates are energy-giving nutrients, they should represent 60% of the total calories in our diet and biscuits are an ideal source. All healthy eating guides recommend eating the most daily portions of cereals and their derivatives, and an average would be 1 portion/day of cereals and 2 portions/day of biscuits or a similar product.

Biscuits are perfectly balanced between providing macronutrients (proteins, fats and carbohydrates) and energy in easily measurable portions (30Kcal per unit) so that you can ration the quantity you consume, making them ideal as small snacks, either by themselves or combined with other foods: milk, yoghurt, cheese, fruit, juice, jam or chocolate.

A portion of 8 breakfast biscuits provides: 7-8% of the the daily energy requirements for an adult man or adolescents 10-11% of the daily energy requirements for adult women or children 8-14% of daily carbohydrate requirements, depending on the age group and body size.

Thirty grams provide 9% of the recommended daily amount of carboydrates, 6% of fats, 3% of proteins and 7% of calories. Biscuits are a high energy food source, glucose providing 70% of their energy.

Biscuits cover all the energy needs for breakfast and tea, making them ideal for children and teenagers.Furthermore, glucose modulates organisms' metabollic rate, regulates food ingestion, gives a sensation of fullness and plays an important role in learning and memory.
