From 1st to 4th March, the Mukuhari Messe building in Tokio, Japan held the 36th exhibition of the Foodex Fair, in which we were present as well.
30,000 square metres of fairgrounds, 2,393 exhibitors, 3,347 stands, 59 countries represented and some 85,000 visitors were the statistics that helped us make the decision of travelling to Japan in order to participate in Foodex. It is the largest fair, not only in the Asian region, but also in the Pacific area and the third largest in the world. It is considered the first step in entering the Asian market.
Thanks to a previous experience, we knew by intuition that there would be a good acceptance of our biscuits in Japan and our presence in the fair confirmed our expectations. We received many visits from people interested in Quely products, although it is also true that many were attracted by the picture of Rafael Nadal printed on the publicity that decorated our stand.
The professional nature of Foodex allowed us to establish serious contacts and project future business in Asia.
