Quely travels to Germany

Quely reaches the palate of the German consumer.

Javier Soriano has travelled to the South of Germany, to participate in an event organised at the Scheck-In Center supermarkets, where we sell our products. These supermarkets are part of the EDEKA chain, which is currently Germany's largest supermarket chain. Its most curious feature is Scheck-In’s “Kochfabrik”, or factory kitchen, where dishes can be prepared using the products on sale as a way of introducing them to regular customers. The mission of our prestigious chef was to develop some recipes by combining various products with our versatile biscuits, which on more than one occasion produced some very surprising results for the taste buds.

In the different events that were organised, Javier Soriano shared stoves with one of Germany's top chefs, Alfons Schuhbeck, who boasts a Michelin star and has been chef for FC Bayern München in Munich.

The recipes included: lamb brochette with Quely Picada coated mushrooms; Quely María coated chocolate truffles; squid stuffed with sobrasada, prawns baked with almond cream and Quely Tres; King prawns coated with Quely Picada, sesame seeds and garlic; Apple crumble with Quely María and coconut ice cream; rice pudding and Quely Koko@'s; and wholemeal Quely Tapas fishcakes, containing salmon, quinoa and baby spinach.
